Each year on the first Sunday in June as part of National Cancer Survivors Day, we pay tribute to more than 15 million cancer survivors and their loved ones in the US.

We recognize everyone’s cancer experience can be challenging in unique ways.

That’s why we’re inviting you to participate in a special new project to make your social media feeds a source of hope and inspiration in the month of June.

Inspired by Japanese tradition, the Paper Crane symbolizes hope and healing during difficult times.

We ask that you make a paper crane and share your story on social media using the hashtag #HopeCrane.

We want to keep a movement of hope going—so please view our video of photos people have shared on social media and get instructions on how to build a #HopeCrane.

In appreciation,

The Cancer Support Community

Watch people share their cranes from around the world.
