"I was diagnosed with cancer on October 1, 2020. To be diagnosed with cancer is one thing, but to be diagnosed during a pandemic brings it to another level. I barely remember the first 72 hours. I was in a deep, dark hole. I was distraught, confused, and lonely and was unable to eat, drink, or sleep. I had a panic attack in the middle of the night one night and decided to go online to find somebody to reach out to who could understand what I was going through. I typed the words “cancer support” into Google and was very thankful to find CSC.
With CSC, I finally had a community of people who would be available to me 24/7. People who knew the pain and despair I was feeling. A community of people who had knowledge and strength and determination and hope!" - Maureen
