Cancer Support Community!

I know from personal experience how important support and community are when facing a life-changing diagnosis like cancer. I’m a three-time cancer thriver, first diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2007. After my diagnosis, I went searching for information about clinical data, treatment options, and experiences of others. I found support but wanted to connect with a more "personal" organization, which is how I found MyLifeLine and the Cancer Support Community. They excelled in areas where I needed support, primarily emotional, psychological, and personal experience impacts.

The Cancer Support Community has done so much for me and other cancer patients and I’m blessed to have them in my life. I’ve donated to support their wonderful programs, but I wanted to do more! 

Living in Colorado, I enjoy walking for exercise, and in 2021, I had a goal to walk 1,300 miles; the distance from my current home in Broomfield, CO to Ponchatoula, LA, where I grew up. By September, I had met that goal, and reached the 1,900-mile mark by December. This year, I've set a goal of 1,500 miles and am asking all to join me by making a donation to the Cancer Support Community. That would put “an extra spring in my step!”
